Terms and conditions for Bookings and
other information

Bookings with Finger Buffet, Fork Buffet, Canapés, Bowl Food (Hot or Cold or any other externally sourced catering will be subject to a 35% deposit three weeks before the event, with another 35% being paid one week before the event and the final balance being paid on the night by cash, debit or credit card.  Cheques cannot be accepted. A service charge of 10% will be added to the bill for this service and all bills are subject to VAT.

Bookings for 10 or more people who require food cooked inhouse (Pizzas, Salads, Sharing Platters, Paninis, Ciabatas) will require a pre order and a 50% deposit three days in advance. The final balance will be paid on the night by cash, cebit or credit Card. Cheques cannot be accepted and all bills are subject to VAT.

All bookings for individual areas must be at the Bar
by 9.00pm.

High Tables Area
This area can be booked for up to 50 people on Fridays and Saturdays and it has the benefit of having its’ own corner of the bar and it can be cornered off to make it more private.  We can serve food in this area and it is ideal for private parties.  We only book this area for 20 people or more on Fridays and Saturdays. Bookings must include a minimum of £50s worth of food or the equivalent amount added to the final bill. Tickled Ivory requires valid credit card details for the booking of this area and all outstanding bills are to be settled at the end of the night.

VIP Area booking
This area can be booked for up to 25 people and costs £150 (paid in advance) on a Friday and Saturday. We include either 2 x bottles of House Champagne or the equivalent in Beer and Wine.  Customers who book this area must be at the bar for 9.45pm, at the latest, and before 8.30pm if they require food. This area can be booked via ‘VIP ME’ on Facebook every Tuesday and if you would like to secure this area please visit Facebook.com/Happy Tuesdays (at) Tickled Ivory Piano Bar and get your friends to like your post…please follow instructions.

Dining Height Area
This area can take up to 16 people seated or 25 standing and can be booked free of charge with credit card details as insurance of booking. This area cannot be booked for less than 10 persons on Fridays and Saturdays. It can also be added to the VIP Area for larger bookings for an extra £50.

Sofa Areas
We have four sofas which are normally placed back to back and these can be booked free of charge  for bookings with 15 or more persons. We will take valid credit card details as insurance.  On Tuesdays/Wednesday/Thursdays we move the sofas into the space that is normally used as “High Tables Area”- this is a good area and is adaptable - please speak to the Manager for further details. (In December we charge for this area in advance).

All bookings have to be confirmed with Management either by telephone or email and if you have not had confirmation of the booking then the booking cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation Policy
Tickled Ivory operates a strict cancellation policy and reserves the right to charge in the event of unreasonable cancellation, ‘no show’ or 50% reduction in numbers without prior agreement by the Management.  Tickled Ivory will charge £22 per head in the event of 'no show'.  £15 per head will be charged in the event of the booking being
cancelled 48 hours or LESS in advance.
